HipCheck Components

HipCheck Agent
This is a small, unobtrusive executable that is installed on each system that you want to monitor. An agent runs in the background, monitoring the system's hardware and operating system status and communicating this status to the HipCheck Servers. Agents are available for Microsoft Windows and UNIX platforms. Click here for the full list of platforms supported.

HipCheck Client
This is a graphical user interface that enables an authorized user to proactively monitor system performance, perform administration actions, and/or respond to alerts to correct problems. HipCheck is available both as a mobile client that runs on a mobile phone and as a PC Client that runs on a Windows desktop.

HipCheck Server
This acts as the intermediary between HipCheck agents and HipCheck Clients, providing user authentication and secure data transfer. The HipCheck Server provides an administration web interface where you set up systems to be monitored by HipCheck, and assign system monitoring and alert privileges to users.
