Access to the hosted HipCheck server is controlled by a license key that must be entered either when creating a new account or after having taken the free 30-day trial.

Licenses are sold based on the number of servers and administrators required. Server licenses are sold in 'server months' e.g One server for a years access would require 12 server months, three servers for a years access would require a total of 36 server months and so on.

List prices in the UK range from £8 - £15 per server, per month (26p - 50p per server, per day).
